Govt. injects $340-mn in Nepal's infra

Expanding its infrastructure financing initiative beyond border, India recently committed to provide $ 340 million to Nepal for building multiple infrastructure projects, Railways Minister, Suresh Prabhu said, elaborating that the decision to this effect was taken during the recently held 'Nepal Infrastructure Summit 2017' organized by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in association with the Nepal government and Youth Community for Nepalese Contractors (YCNC). The Minister, who was the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the summit, said that the infrastructure meet was pivotal for accelerating Nepal's economic growth at a time when the country is striving to graduate to the league of developing nations, wherein, India is committed to build a bridge venture and 15 road projects in the counrty.
