Govt. clears Rs. 387-cr bridge project

Telangana Bridge Project
The state government in Telangana has recently accorded administrative sanction for the construction of a new flyover between Balanagar and Narasapur Crossroads in Hyderabad at an investment of Rs. 387 crore.

The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department Secretary Navin Mittal, said that the cost of grade separator between two of the busiest junctions in the Twin Cities of HMDA and GHMC would be met with the revenue generated from the Building Regularization Scheme (BRS) and allied resources. GHMC proposal interestingly is to build the flyover at these two junctions and it was originally made by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) last year under its Strategic Road Development Project (SRDP), said sources.
