Government to Build 1056 Homes in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar under PMAY

In a bid to improve living standards for homeless citizens, the government has announced the construction of 1056 new homes at Nakshatrwadi in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). This was revealed by State Housing Minister Mr. Atul Save in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.

At an event at the District Collector's office, Save conducted a computerized lottery to allocate 1133 homes and 361 plots in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Latur, Jalna, Nanded, Hingoli, Parbhani, and Dharashiv. These properties were developed under various housing schemes managed by MHADA's Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Board.

Save stated that the new housing project at Nakshatrwadi would feature modern amenities comparable to those offered by private developers. He also mentioned that the groundbreaking ceremony for the project will take place soon. He congratulated the board's Chief Officer, Mr. Mandar Vaidya, and his team for their efficient organization of the lottery and wished the applicants good luck.

The computerized lottery for the 1133 homes and 361 plots was conducted in four phases. In the first phase, the lottery was held for 957 applications received for 425 homes under PMAY, with Suresh Bansode being the first winner. During the event, the winners present were honored by MHADA and praised its transparent lottery system.
