Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) along with the local civic body has cleared a flurry of flyovers and underpasses to be constructed within their jurisdictions. The sites include the Hero Honda Chowk to Northern Peripheral Road (NPR), near HUDA City Center Metro Station. The state government has decided that the road from Hero Honda Chowk to NPR on NH-48 will be expanded to six lanes and that NHAI will construct the portion from Hero Honda Chowk to Shaheed Captain Umang Bhardwaj Chowk on Pataudi road. The stretch after this will be constructed by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) and Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG). This road would also have an underpass, two flyovers and one railway over bridge, said an official spokesperson.
