In a major booster to the tourism infrastructure, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has decided to construct a cable bridge starting from Jubilee Hills to Madhapur to ensure smooth flow of tourists in the area. The targeted project stretching across 1.1 km length on Hill's Road No-45 to Inorbit Mall in Madhapur, and will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 184-cr under the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP). The social impact assessment study and land acquisition for the project has been completed and the State government is likely to give go-ahead for its construction in the next few days, said an official spokesperson.
