GDA unveils ₹450-cr new link to NPR Road

GDA
The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has planned a 19-km long six-lane new road link to Northern Peripheral Road at an investment of ₹450 crore. The move will give a major boost to connectivity within the city and better access to townships like Raj Nagar Extension. The agency has prepared a road map and for approval by the state government and has also sought funds for the mega project. GDA‘s ambitious Madhuban Bapudham scheme is coming up near the Eastern Peripheral Road on one side and NPR on the other side. Connectivity to Madhuban Bapudham was an issue with NPR, but this has been resolved, and as per plan, the township will be connected to NPR through an approach road. Raj Nagar Extension township will also be connected to NPR and a 3.5-km loop near the second ROB near Delhi-Meerut Road has also been planned.
