Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has announced the approval for the construction of a 29 km long 4-lane Jaunpur Bypass (Package-1) in Uttar Pradesh. The project, estimated at ₹1,894.76 crore, will be executed on the Jaunpur-Akbarpur section of National Highway – 135A. Gadkari emphasized that the bypass will alleviate traffic congestion in Jaunpur city, offering connectivity to various national highways. Its implementation aims to ensure smoother and safer traffic flow, reducing travel time for road users. Additionally, the project includes a significant bridge over the river Ganga, enhancing regional connectivity.
