Funds in full flow for railway projects

According to Railway Board Chairman AK Mital funds would not be an issue and adequate funds would be given for ongoing railway projects and they would be commissioned on scheduled, official sources said, claiming that reviewing performance and progress of East Coast Railway especially on ongoing projects with General Manager Umesh Singh and other Principal Heads of the Departments of Railways at Rail Sadan, Bhubaneswar. Railway is going all out to ensure financing for the ongoing projects in East Coast and is committed to make available adequate funds for the purpose. He stressed on early completion of vital infrastructure projects to avoid cost overruns and to speed up mobility in this region and also sought co-operation from all agencies for development of railway infrastructure and projects in this region.
