Four-Laning Work Begins on ₹1,058 Cr Phagwara-Hoshiarpur Road Project

The four-laning of the 48.622-km Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road has officially commenced. The project, estimated at ₹1,058 crore, is slated for completion within two years. Land acquisition alone will cost ₹500 crore.

Key features of the project include two bypasses, one major and 11 small bridges, 20 underpasses, a railway overbridge, 41 minor junctions, 28 bus lay-bys, two truck lay-bys, and slip roads.
