Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has laid the foundation stone for two National Highway projects valued at over ₹2,500 crore in Khunti, Jharkhand. The projects include the construction of 4-laning of Tupudana to Kundiabartoli section (including Khunti bypass) and widening and upgradation of Bero to Khunti section. The Bero to Khunti section's construction will alleviate traffic congestion and foster development in the region. Moreover, the Khunti Bypass will streamline local product transportation, boosting economic and social growth.
Minister Gadkari highlighted that these initiatives will save time and fuel, reducing pollution. The establishment of modern, high-quality roads will ensure seamless and safe transportation, stimulating economic activities, and creating employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
