FNG expressway back on track in NCR

FNG expressway
The much delayed Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad (FNG) expressway — a 56-km project — has become a reality as the multiple agencies of the two states have agreed to build the highway on a fast track basis. The expressway will be a boon for travelers from Faridabad to Ghaziabad, as they will not have to enter Delhi. Of the total length, 8 km will fall in Ghaziabad, 19.6 km in Noida-Greater Noida region and 28.1 km in Faridabad. The 11-km 6-lane underpass at Noida-Greater Noida expressway is one of the main aspects of this project, which will be constructed using pushback technology and will connect sectors 143 and 168 at the Noida- Greater Noida expressway. The point where the underpass ends will be connected to a flyover to cross the Yamuna river connecting Noida to Faribabad. Better connectivity to villages falling near the FNG expressway will also have better connectivity as there will be three more underpasses.
