A Germany-based company specializing in recycling building material, such as used concrete, through various construction works, has chosen Elkon as its partner in its new ready mix business. The company chose to enter the ready-mix business as a result of the expansion of its ongoing projects. To realize this idea, Elkon put an Elkomix-90 Quick Master Compact Concrete Batching plant into operation in Stuttgart recently. The plant, which has been equipped with a 2250/1500 I Elkon Twinshaft mixer, is able to produce 1.5m3 of vibrated concrete in every batch. It reaches a production capacity of 75m3/h and is also equipped with four 20m3 inline aggregate storage bins and two 75t cement silos, said an official spokesperson.
