Dynapac, a group company of the Fayat Group, present in India since 2008, has expanded its production to a full line of soil compactors and asphalt rollers for the Indian and export markets. Its plant at Pulgaon in Pune has a production capacity of 1,200 to 1,500 units a year. Units include compactors and asphalt rollers of 10 - 20-tons; and double drum asphalt rollers of 1.6 ton and of 7 to 9 tons. In 2018, the company manufactured 750 units in India and currently has a market share of 12-15%. President of the Fayat Group, Jean-Claude Fayat, said that investing in capacity expansion is necessary as Dynapac is a key player in the road construction equipment market. The company has chalked out plans for expanding its presence with more product offerings and is leveraging its technical expertise to develop equipment that addresses customer’s requirements more closely.
