In a bid to provide world-class transport facilities to both old and new Gurgaon in the national capital region, the Haryana government has recently decided to fast track the Dwarka-Iffco Chowk Metro project. In this connection, the government is currently exploring multiple possibilities on how to connect these townships. As a matter of fact, before launching the mega metro project, it wants to make sure that the requisite and sustainable infrastructure is created. The blueprint for the project is ready and will be announced shortly, Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar said. In its entirety, the government is keen to put the basic infrastructure like roads, power, water, and sewerage in place. This is so because of the unplanned expansion of the city and the current government is going all out to ensure the Millennium City gets world-class infrastructure, he claimed.
