DPR Tender Awarded for Mangaluru-Bengaluru High-Speed Expressway Project

The tender process for the proposed Mangaluru-Bengaluru High-Speed Express Corridor has been completed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), and work on the Detailed Project Report (DPR) will begin soon. The DPR contract was awarded on April 30 and is expected to be completed in 18 months.
The expressway, planned with four to eight lanes, will pass through Hassan and boost commercial development in Dakshina Kannada, including Mangaluru. Once operational, it will reduce traffic congestion, cut travel time, and provide safe, efficient, all-weather connectivity between Mangaluru and Bengaluru.
