PMGSY-IV Road Projects

The Centre has approved a ₹4,224.23 crore package for 316 road projects in Jammu and Kashmir under PMGSY-IV, marking the largest allocation for the union territory since the launch of the rural road development programme. The projects will provide road connectivity to rural habitations with as few as 250 residents, covering a total length of 1,781.33 km. The majority of these projects will benefit the Jammu division, which remains less connected compared to Kashmir.
