DMRC opens technical bids for Patna Metro Project

The DMRC, which is all set to award ₹510 crore for the construction for elevated viaducts and 5 stations including Malai Pakri, Khemni Chak, Bhoothnath, Zero Mile and New ISBT for the metro project at Patna in Bihar, has opened technical bids. The technical bids for the tender called for a 6.107 km long section, as this is a section of 17.95 km long corridor 2 of the Patna Metro project that will connect Patna Railway Station– New ISBT by 14 metro stations, involving the Package PC-01 & PC-02 of the project. Seven Indian firms, which are vying to bag the project involving a cost of ₹172.18 crore, included URC Construction, Sam (India) Builtwell, Dinesh Chandra R Agrawal Infracon, Lisha Engineers, Pinax Steel Industries, Quality Buildcon and YFC Projects. This New ISBT Depot will cover a distance of 31 km long Phase 1 network of the project, including two corridors.
