Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway to Undergo ₹245-Cr Upgrade

The Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway is set for a major revamp to ensure smooth traffic integration with the upcoming Dwarka Expressway, expected to open by year-end. A key focus of the ₹245-crore upgrade is improving the surface drain along the 27-km stretch from Dhaula Kuan to Kherki Daula to eliminate waterlogging.
The project includes resurfacing roads, especially viaducts, service lanes, and underpasses. Damaged metal barriers will be replaced with concrete crash barriers, and the service road from Hero Honda Chowk to Kherki Daula toll plaza will be concretised for better durability and safety.
