Delhi-Dehradun Travel Time Cut to 2.5 Hours with New Expressway

Travel from Delhi to Dehradun will soon take only 2.5 hours, down from six, thanks to the nearing completion of the 213-km Delhi-Dehradun expressway. Trials are underway on the last 20-km stretch from Dehradun to Biharigarh, including a 12-km elevated road from Asharodi to Ganeshpur. The project, launched in January 2021, is set for completion by December. Unlike the current route through Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Roorkee, the new expressway will connect via Baghpat and Saharanpur.
