Decks cleared for Rajkot Airport project

Rajkot airport
With the state government of Gujarat giving green signal to make available 2,800 acres of land for the international airport proposed to be built in Rajkot, decks appeared to have been cleared for the international airport in the state. An announcement to this effect was made by the chief minister recently. As a matter of fact, the state government is committed to provide international air connectivity to Rajkot and ready to provide all the required administrative assistance including providing land for the mega aviation venture. A team from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) had visited Kuvadava town on the outskirts of Rajkot to inspect the site for the proposed airport and also for fast tracking the airport project.
