Decks cleared for ₹25,000-cr realty project in Mumbai

Reliance Realty, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anil Ambani Group, has secured approval to develop its 132-acre Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City (DAKC) in Navi Mumbai into a Smart Fintech Centre with a value of ₹25,000 crore. The prime project at DAKC will have a total saleable area of more than 30 million sq.ft. The company has got final approvals from the Department of Information Technology, Government of Maharashtra, and the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). Its saleable area post-development will be double the size of the existing commercial area of Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Reliance Realty has already started major infrastructure development activities in this regard, said Chairman, Anil Ambani in a media statement.
