DBL emerges as lowest bidder for ₹654-cr rail contract

Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder on percentage rate (EPC project) for a tender floated by Ircon International involving an investment of ₹654.97 crore with a completion period of 30 months. The scope of work involves civil works including earthwork for railway formation, blanketing work, minor and major bridges, ROB, RUB, track linking works including the supply of ballast, station building, other service buildings and staff quarters. It also includes platform works covering general electrical works for the section between Sendurgarh (67 km) to Pendra Road (135 km) in connection with the construction of new BG electrified double railway line for the Chhattisgarh East-West Rail Corridor from Gevra Road (0 km) to Pendra Road (135 km) in Chhattisgarh over the South East Central Railway.
