Coimbatore to award ₹164-cr transport infra projects
The Coimbatore city corporation is set to award road infra projects including access roads and other infrastructure in and around the integrated bus stand at Vellalore at an investment of ₹164 crore. After securing mandatory clearances from the state administration, the corporation is conducting a meeting with the stakeholders, including officials from Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) to award the project after floating the tender for construction of the bus stand. The state municipal administration minister SP Velumani had laid the foundation stone for the transport infra project spread across 60 acres, claimed official sources.
