Civic body floats tenders for road projects in Pune

The Pimpri Chinchwad civic body in Pune has proposed the asphalting of roads at Borhadewadi, Khiridiwasti, Aaherwadi, Aalhatwasti and Vinayaknagar in Dighi where the project will be implemented very shortly. The contractor will visit the sites to prepare a bid for the project and that the work will have to be carried out under the supervision of the appointed project management consultant. The contractor will have to make all necessary arrangements to regulate traffic from day to night during the period of construction; provide caution boards, barricades, flags, lights and watchmen;, and be responsible for safe shifting of public utilities such as telephone lines, electrical cables and water supply lines.
