CIDCO infra projects
Cidco, which is the planning and development agency for the Navi Mumbai International Airport project, has targeted to invest a staggering sum of Rs.12, 600 crore on building the required infrastructure over a period of time. It may be recalled that the much-awaited project has finally been cleared by the state Urban Development Department (UDD) signaling commencement of its first phase of development in 23 earmarked villages of Panvel taluka, covering 37 sq km. Developers and others engaged in the property business welcomed the move as it will open up a huge quantum of land for development pushing their business avenues to new highs, said official sources, elaborating that out of the total land area, 40% will be reserved for basic city infrastructural development.
