CIAL Launches ₹200-Cr 'CIAL 2.0' to Digitise Operations with AI & Cybersecurity

Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) is launching CIAL 2.0, a ₹200-crore initiative to fully digitise airport operations and improve passenger services through AI, automation, and advanced cybersecurity.

Central to the project is India’s first on-premises cyber defence operations centre (CDOC) at an airport. Developed with support from CDAC, the CDOC will provide real-time threat intelligence, round-the-clock monitoring, and rapid incident response to ensure secure and seamless airport operations.
