The State's Public Works Department in a recent initiative has fast-tracked the work on Raipur-Bilaspur four-lane road project entailing a staggering investment of Rs. 1,788cr. Chief Secretary, Vivek Dhand said adding that the project is going to complete within the stipulated timelines. The project entailed scope of work including widening of 110 kilometers long Raipur-Bilaspur road in three phases covering Raipur-Simga, Simga-Sargaon, and Sargaon-Bilaspur stretches at investments of Rs. 594cr, Rs. 639cr, and Rs. 535-cr respectively, he claimed.
