Chhattisgarh CM Proposes Major Highway Projects to Nitin Gadkari
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and economic growth. Proposals included new national highways to improve access to tribal areas and direct connectivity to Ayodhya. CM Sai requested approval for 13 projects worth Rs. 1,383 crore under the Central Road Fund and proposed two new highways: Raigarh-Dharamjaygarh-Mainpat Ambikapur-UP border and Kawardha-Rajnandgaon-Bhanupratappur-Antagarh-Narayanpur-Gidam-Dantewada-Sukma. Plans to upgrade existing highways and declare an 11-km bypass as a national highway were also discussed. Gadkari assured full cooperation for these initiatives.
