The Centre has finally given it's nod for the construction of a four-lane road between Jadcherla and Mahabubnagar town in Telangana, claimed sources, admitting that the new road will be constructed by National Highways Authority by investing central funds. In this connection, the area MP AP Jithender Reddy got clearance after meeting with the Director General for Roads and Transportation in the national capital recently. The MP stated that the condition of the existing road stretch is in a shamble causing number of accidents on the narrow road which is full of potholes. The centre authorized the state government to float tenders for the construction of the road stretch as quickly as possible.
