Centre Approves ₹177 Cr Muthalapozhi Harbour Development Project

A technical committee constituted by the Centre has approved a ₹177 crore development project for Muthalapozhi harbour. The Centre will fund 60% of the project cost, with the remaining 40% covered by the state government. Initially estimated at ₹163 crore, the project cost increased to ₹177 crore after adding new components to improve the harbour's safety and infrastructure.
