The Union government has sanctioned ₹6,585 crore for the development of seven national highways spanning 384 km in Andhra Pradesh. The projects include key stretches such as Kondamudu to Pericherla (49.9 km), Sangameswaram to Nalla Kaluva and Velugodu in Nandyal district (62.5 km), Nandyal to Kurnool/Kadapa border (62 km), Vempalli to Chagalamarri (78.95 km), Gorantla to Hindupur (33.58 km), Muddanuru to B. Kothapalli (56.5 km), and Pendurthi to Bowdara (40.55 km). These developments aim to enhance the state's infrastructure and connectivity.
