CCI Approves Cube Highways Acquisition of Road Assets from Dinesh Chandra Infra Companies

The Competition Commission of India (CCI)
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed acquisition of road asset businesses of four infrastructure companies by Cube Highways and Infrastructure V Pte. Ltd. (Cube V).

The transaction involves the indirect purchase of the road asset businesses of Dinesh Chandra Yamuna Infra Pvt. Ltd., Dinesh Chandra Vaishnodevi Infra Pvt. Ltd., Dinesh Chandra Giriraj Infra Pvt. Ltd. and Dineshchandra Trans-Eastern Highways Pvt. Ltd.. These entities operate highway projects in India through government concessions.

Cube V, a foreign portfolio investor registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India, focuses on acquiring, operating and managing highway and transportation infrastructure assets in India. The acquisition is expected to expand Cube Highways’ portfolio of road infrastructure projects in the country.
