Green-Energy-Generation
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of a 26% equity stake in Continuum Green Energy Holdings Ltd. (Continuum SG) by Continuum Energy Pte. Ltd. (CEPL) from Clean Energy Investing Pte. Ltd. Following the transaction, Continuum SG will become a wholly owned subsidiary of CEPL.

CEPL, a Singapore-based private limited company, functions as a holding entity and is the promoter of Continuum SG. In India, CEPL’s affiliates are involved in the generation of renewable power. Continuum SG, also incorporated in Singapore, operates in India through Continuum Green Energy Limited (Continuum India) and its subsidiaries, which are engaged in renewable energy generation.

The approval underscores CCI’s support for consolidation in India’s clean energy sector, enabling stronger investment flows and expanding the country’s renewable energy footprint.
