CCI Approves Allison Transmission Acquisition of Dana’s Off-Highway Business

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of Dana Incorporated’s off-highway business by Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. The deal marks a strategic expansion for Allison, a global leader in vehicle propulsion solutions, transmissions, and electrified propulsion systems.
While most of Allison’s products serve commercial on-highway applications, a portion also caters to off-highway vehicles used in construction, forestry, mining, agriculture, and industrial operations. Headquartered in Indianapolis, USA, Allison operates in over 150 countries and has a subsidiary in India, Allison Transmission India Private Limited.
Dana OH specialises in the manufacture and supply of off-highway drivetrain, transmissions, and propulsion solutions, serving a diverse range of industries. Dana OH operates in over 25 countries and with a global customer base. Dana OH has manufacturing facilities in several countries.
