Caterpillar’s Global Centennial World Tour Arrives in India

The Centennial Truck will travel to five key locations across India, visiting major Caterpillar facilities and engaging a large portion of its workforce. At each stop, guests will explore interactive exhibits, hear inspiring stories of transformation, and gain insights into how Caterpillar is helping customers build a more sustainable and connected future. The exhibits will also highlight Caterpillar’s contribution to India’s socio-economic development through continued investments in R&D, local manufacturing, and skill enhancement.
Also, in connection with the Centennial World Tour stops in India, the Caterpillar Foundation will allocate a total of $145,000 USD to Goonj, a charity organization that uses underutilized material to improve livelihood, bridge gaps in rural infrastructure and provide disaster relief across India. This donation will be made by Charities Aid Foundation America (CAF America) at the recommendation of the Caterpillar Foundation.
The Centennial World Tour embarked on its journey to visit Caterpillar facilities around the world in early 2025 to provide an interactive and immersive experience for employees and visitors.
Highlighting the importance of celebrating Caterpillar’s legacy, Bhuvan Anandakrishnan, Vice President - Global Engineering & Technology and Country Manager for Caterpillar in India said, “India’s growth story has been a part of our own. There would be no Caterpillar products or solutions without the people behind them. No matter what our customers will need 100 years from now, we will be there to develop products and solutions to help them create a lasting impact on their communities in a sustainable way.”
As Caterpillar celebrates 100 years of leading the industry through innovation, this world tour stands as both a tribute to our legacy and a look ahead to what’s next, from a brand committed to providing products and solutions that connect people to water, energy, food, work, education, and to one another. We’re proud of the journey so far and even more excited about what lies ahead.
