The final river bridge on the Kharera River in Navsari district, Gujarat, was completed on October 29, 2024, marking the completion of all nine river bridges between Vapi and Surat for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Corridor. This bridge, spanning 120 meters with three 40-meter girders, has piers ranging from 14.5 to 19 meters high.

The Kharera bridge is the 12th of 20 river bridges completed in Gujarat for the project, located between the Vapi and Bilimora Bullet Train stations. Other completed bridges in this segment include crossings over the Kolak, Par, Auranga, and Kaveri rivers.

So far, 12 river bridges have been completed in Gujarat, including those over the Dhadhar, Mohar, and Vatrak rivers in other districts.
