The construction of three major permanent steel bridges like Dau Bridge on Hayuliang-Changiwinti Road, Kramati on Changwinti-Walong-Namati Road, and Yasong Bridge on Changwinti-Walong-Namati Road stretches in border areas of Anjaw District will be built and completed this year itself. The bridges are being constructed by 48 BRTF (P) Udayak in Border Roads Organization (BRO) and the launching of super structure of these Bridges have almost been completed, except few minor works at Kramati and Yasong Bridge and these projects are planned to open for traffic in April next year, Commander of 48 BRTF, Col C Rajashekar stated in an official statement, adding that once completed, these bridges will facilitate induction of ALS vehicles and guns of army to its bases at international borders besides providing life-line to the people living in these regions.
