The Centre recently cleared 47 new road over-bridges (ROBs) across the state in Bihar, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that the state government will bear 50% of the cost of the construction of ROBs and that the detailed project report (DPR) for the projects in question would be prepared by Railway Construction Company (IRCON), which has been awarded the task to prepare a detailed project report (DPR). Apart from building approach roads, the railway is also in the process of clearing the construction of ROBs over other railway crossings on national and state highways and other roads where traffic snarls have become a routine affair.
