Bihar Cabinet clears ₹380-cr road project

Bihar government has approved the first phase of the four-lane road between R-Block and Digha in the state capital, entailing an investment of ₹380 crore. The project includes construction of a 6.3-km road with two service lanes on both sides, flyover, drainage, footpath and media. After Digha, the road would be extended to the Ganga Path in the second phase. The cabinet also approved the submission on agricultural extension project under National Mission on Agricultural Extension and Technology (NMAET) at an expenditure of ₹63.04 crore, including ₹37.82 crore of the Centre's share.
