Bihar approves ₹4,154-cr for new road network

Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar, has approved the construction of 120 bypass roads with a total length of 708 km across urban areas of the state involving an investment of ₹4,154 crore. The CM has directed the administration's officials to speed up the land acquisition so that the construction work could start soon and the projects complete on time. The roads should be wide enough to match future requirements. He said that the elevated roads should be constructed wherever necessary and the construction of flyovers and road over and rail over bridges be built over railway tracks across urban areas in the state.
