Bhoorathnom Construction Bags ₹303 Cr Jal Jeevan Mission Project in Rajasthan

Bhoorathnom Construction has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Rajasthan, for a major water supply project under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Bikaner district. The company submitted a bid worth ₹303.04 crore.
The project involves augmentation and retrofitting of water supply infrastructure in 108 villages of Sri Dungargarh, Loonkaransar, and Sri Dungargarh town. Under this single-responsibility contract, the scope includes all necessary works to ensure water delivery through a robust distribution pipeline network across the project area. It also includes provisions to extend the system in the future to accommodate new supply zones.
The initiative is a key step towards strengthening rural water infrastructure under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Rajasthan.
