BHEL Secures Rs 10,000 Cr Thermal Power Project in Jharkhand

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured a significant contract worth Rs 10,000 crore for the 2x800 MW Koderma Thermal Power Station Phase-II in Jharkhand. The project, awarded by Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), involves supplying equipment such as boilers, turbines, generators, and associated auxiliaries along with electrical, control and instrumentation (C&I), and balance of plant (BoP) packages. BHEL will also handle the erection, commissioning, and civil works. The project is slated for completion within 52 months.
