Berger Paints' in a recent move has decided to invest Rs 200 crore in setting up an integrated paint manufacturing plant at Sandila Industrial Area in Uttar Pradesh. In this connection, the board of directors of the company has approved installation of paint plant with water and solvent-based decorative, industrial and protective coatings, resin, putty, emulsion and construction chemical manufacturing capabilities in the state, said an official spokesperson, adding that the investment is subject to secure all and mandatory and required consents and approvals, the project is likely to be completed by the end of the financial year 2019-20, he claimed.
