BEML Secures First International Rail-Metro Contract in Malaysia Worth USD 1 Million

Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has bagged its maiden overseas contract in the Rail and Metro segment from Malaysia, valued at USD 1 million. The project involves the retrofit and reconditioning of the country’s Mass Rapid Transport System.

In a statement dated August 9, 2025, the company said, “BEML Limited received its first international contract in the Rail and Metro segment from Malaysia for the retrofit and reconditioning of the Mass Rapid Transport System, valued at USD 1 million.”
