BEML Limited has bagged an order from Coal India Limited for supply of seven 150-T and eight 205E-T Dump Trucks under trial cum sale along with an 8 years contract for spare parts. These Dumpers will be deployed at Coal India subsidiaries SECL's Gevra Project and NCL's Amlohri & Nigahi Projects and will entail an investment of ₹398 crore. Indigenously designed and developed by BEML, the Dump Trucks are being manufactured at BEML's Mysore compleas in x. They will meet the growing demand for higher capacity equipment as in the mining industry and will enhance production substantially. The mining vehicles have eco-friendly emission certified engines with electronic fuel management system to deliver maximum power. Their wide body design, higher value metric capacity and low body weight ensures stability and productivity with state-of-the-art AC drive system, and are engineered to provide exceptional road performance with reduced maintenance.
