BCPL Railway Infrastructure Secures Rs 32.58 Cr OHE Electrification Project from RVNL

BCPL Railway Infrastructure Ltd has signed an agreement with Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) for the execution of 25 KV Overhead Electrification (OHE) modification works between Gurmura and Mahadia, and the Shakti Nagar section of the Dhanbad Division under the East Coast Railway.

The total project is valued at Rs 32.58 crore and is slated for completion within 16 months. The scope of work includes design, supply (excluding galvanised steel structures and conductors such as feeder wire, BEC, and AEC), along with erection, testing, and commissioning of a 2x25 KV feeder line along the track, incorporating all 25 KV OHE modification works.

This project strengthens BCPL’s presence in the railway electrification segment, contributing to the modernisation and efficiency enhancement of India’s railway network under the East Coast Railway zone.
