Adding to its project portfolio in the country’s road and highway sector, Ashoka Mallasandra Karadi Road, which is a subsidiary of Indian company Dilip Buildcon, has secured $ 452 million highway upgrade contract. The scope of work in the project included upgrading a section of the existing NH-206 route stretching across from Shivamogga to Tumkur involved widening the road length so that it features two lanes in either direction, said official sources that the contract in question has been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to the US based subsidiary of the Indian players.
