Adding to its project portfolio in the road and highway sector, Ashoka Buildcon has recently received a letter from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the six laning of Ranastalam to Anandpuram (Visakhapatnam) project from km 634 to km 681 section of NH-5 (New NH- 16) in the State of Andhra Pradesh. This is under NHDP Phase - V (Package II) on Hybrid Annuity Mode Project. Appointed date is said to be the date on which financial closure for a project is achieved, which is considered to be the date of commencement of the construction work. The project is being implemented by Ashoka Ranastalam Anandapuram Road, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ashoka Concessions, a subsidiary of Ashoka Buildcon, said an official spokesperson.
