The road and highways builder of national repute, Ashoka Buildcon, has recently emerged as the lowest bidder for two road projects entailing an investment worth Rs.448 crore for ventures located in the state of Maharashtra. In this connection, the company had submitted bids to MoRTH through Public Works Department, National Highways, Maharashtra for the projects in question, said official sources, claiming that the projects pertain to upgrading of the Jalgaon-Bhadgaon section of NH 753-J and also Bhadgaon-Chalisgaon section of the same highway on the engineering, procurement and construction model, they added.
