Ashoka Buildcon bags ₹443-cr rail project in Punjab

Ashoka Buildcon, in a joint venture, has emerged the lowest bidder for a ₹443.23 crore railway project in Punjab. The company had submitted the bid to Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd in a joint venture with Stroytech Services LLC, wherein the company is a lead member, for the project, Ashoka Buildcon, in an official statement, said that it emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) for package 2, with a completion period of 36 months. The project includes construction of roadbeds, minor bridges, supply of ballast, installation of tracks, railway- and general electrification, signaling and telecommunication works, and doubling of track between Kakrala halt and Hadiaya from 57.50 km to 115.64 km in Ambala division of the Northern Railway.
